RD-96-13 RD 96-13 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT FOR CONSULTING SERVICES FOR SOILS <br /> INVESTIGATION - PHASE II ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT <br /> (MEZES PLAZA PROJECT) <br /> <br /> (SUBSURFACE CONSULTANTS, INC.) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redwood <br /> City requires soils professional environmental and geotechnical <br /> services for the investigation of subsurface soil and groundwater <br /> contamination and conditions of the Mezes Plaza Project site in <br /> the City of Redwood City (the "Project"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Subsurface Consultants, Inc. of Oakland, California <br /> represents that it is qualified on the basis of experience and <br /> <br /> expertise to perform such services required for the Project; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement entitled "Agreement - Professional <br />Consulting Services - Soils Investigation Phase II Environmental <br />Assessment (Mezes Plaza Project)" (form dated 09/13/96), by and <br />between the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redwood City, a <br />redevelopment agency of the State of California and Subsurface <br />Consultants, Inc. for the performance of the above-mentioned <br />services, a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of <br />Secretary, to which copy reference is hereby made for the full <br />particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the Executive <br />Director and Secretary are hereby authorized and directed to <br />execute, and to attest thereto, respectively, said agreement for <br />and on behalf of the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redwood <br />City. <br /> <br /> <br />
