RD-97-04 RD 97-04 RD-97-4 RD 97-4 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE <br /> CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AUTHORIZING AGENCY OFFICERS <br /> TO PERFORM CERTAIN ACTIONS RELATING TO BOND <br /> INSURANCE IN CONNECTION WITH THE ISSUANCE AND SALE <br /> OF REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA NO. 2 TAX <br /> ALLOCATION REFUNDING BONDS, SERIES 1997 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redwood City <br />("Agency"), is a public body, corporate and politic, duly created, established and <br />authorized to transact business and exercise its powers, under and pursuant to the <br />Community Redevelopment Law (Part I, Division 24 of the Health and Safety <br />Code, commencing with §33000 et seq.) (the Law"), including the powers to issue <br />bonds; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a redevelopment plan known as the Redevelopment Plan for <br />Redevelopment Project Area No. 2 (the "Project") in the City of Redwood City <br />("City") has been adopted and all requirements of the Law for and precedent to the <br />adoption and approval of said Redevelopment Plan have been duly complied with <br />for the project area (the "Project Area"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in order to finance a portion of the costs associated with <br />undertaking the Project, Agency, City and the Public Financing Authority of City <br />(the "Authority") have from time to time issued bonds, notes and certificates of <br />participation therefor, including the Authority's 1991 Local Agency Revenue Bonds, <br /> <br /> Reso-RD-002 <br /> G/Shared/Redwood/Council <br /> DES:djk <br /> 02/18/97 <br /> <br /> <br />
