O R I G I N A L 10/8/01 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14393 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR FIRE STATION #9 <br />KITCHEN RENOVATION PROJECT; AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND <br />DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 14304, adopted August 13, 2001, <br />the City Clerk advertised for bids for the Fire Station #9 Kitchen Renovation <br />Project in the City of Redwood City, California; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, four bids were received for <br />the performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br />WHEREAS, Tinney Construction Corporation of Redwood City, California <br />is the lowest responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire of this Council <br />to award said bid to Tinney Construction Corporation; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The bid of Tinney Construction Corporation in the amount of Twenty- <br />Nine Thousand Nine Hundred Fifty -five and No /100 Dollars ($29,955.00), <br />computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated September 19, 2001 for <br />the Fire Station #9 Kitchen Renovation Project, is hereby accepted and said <br />bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said <br />work. <br />Reso -602 1 <br />DES:djk <br />F: /Shared /R edwood/Co u nc i <br />02/22/99 <br />
