RD-03-76 <br /> <br />- RESOLUTION AMENDING SECTION 5 OF THE BY-LAWS <br /> OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Executive Director of the Redevelopment Agency of the City of <br /> Redwood City, hereinafter referred to as "Agency," is authorized to enter into contracts, <br /> within budgetary limits, of $10,000 or less, on behalf of the Agency; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Municipal Code of the City of Redwood City previously <br /> authorized the City Manager to enter into contracts for personal services and the <br /> purchase of materials, equipment and supplies costing less than $10,000; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Redwood City in November 2002 <br /> amended its Municipal Code to authorize the City Manager to enter into contracts for <br /> personal services and the purchase of materials, equipment and supplies costing less <br /> - than $60,001.00 excluding sales tax and freight; and <br /> WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Agency to authorize the Executive Director to <br /> enter into contracts for personal services and the purchase of materials, equipment and <br /> supplies costing less than $60,001.00, excluding sales tax and freight. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT: <br /> 1. Section 5 of the By-laws of the Redwood City Redevelopment Agency <br /> shall read as follows: <br /> The Executive Director shall serve as the Planning and Redevelopment <br /> Manager of the City of Redwood City. He or she shall have general <br /> supervision over the administration of the business and affairs of the <br /> <br /> Agency, subject to the direction of the Agency.
