MINUTE ORDER <br /> <br /> CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> October 30, 1995 <br /> <br /> MO. 95-216 <br /> <br />CITY CLERK DEPARTMENT <br />Redwood City <br /> <br />DATE: November 1, 1995 <br /> <br />Attention: City Manager <br /> City Attorney <br /> Community Development Director <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Appeal - Mezes Court Development (603) <br /> <br />Meeting of the Council of the City of Redwood City on October 30, 1995 <br /> <br /> Present:Councilmembers Buchan, Hartnett, Howard, La Berge, Sanfilipo <br /> and Mayor Gasparini <br /> <br />Absent: Steinfeld <br /> <br />The following motion was made and entered on the Minutes: <br /> <br /> M/S: IIARTNETT/ItOWARD TO DENY THE APPEAL AND UPHOLD THE <br /> DECISION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> <br /> Councilwoman Howard advised she had spoken with some business <br /> owners along Main Street and they welcomed the mixed-use in the area. <br /> <br /> Councilman Sanfdipo said that although he believed in the project he <br /> would vote no because he believed the parking would be a problem, and the <br /> off-site parking located on the site of the temporary City Hall would be used <br /> by Library patrons. <br /> <br /> MOTION CARRIED BY THE FOLLOWING ROLL CALL VOTE: <br /> AYES: COUNCIL MEMBERS BUCHAN, HARTNETT, HOWARD <br /> LA BERGE AND MAYOR GASPARINI <br /> NOES: COUNCILMAN SANFILIPO <br /> ABSENT:COUNCILWOMAN STEINFELD <br /> <br /> <br />
