ORIGINAL <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> MIDPEN HOUSING CORPORATION <br /> (City Center Plaza Deck Repair Project) <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this �� day of��� <br /> 2011, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter city and municipal <br /> corporation of the State of California ("City") and MIDPEN HOUSING CORPORATION, <br /> a California nonprofit organization ("Contractor"; collectively the "Parties"). <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor desires to renovate/improve certain facilities and provide <br /> services to individuals who are residents of the City (the "ProjecY'); and <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to finance, in <br /> whole or in part, the Project that_ will benefit residents of City during the fiscal year <br /> commencing July 1, 2011, and ending June 30, 2012 (the "Fiscal Year"); and <br /> WHEREAS, City has reviewed Contractor's request and the Project and desires <br /> to allocate a certain sum of money from its Community Development Block Grant funds <br /> for the Project. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the Parties hereby agree as follows: <br /> 1. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE. City will allocate to Contractor the sum of One <br /> Hundred Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($100,000.00) for exclusive use by Contractor <br /> during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2011, and ending June 30, 2012, solely for <br /> the purposes described in Paragraph 2. <br /> 2. USE OF FUNDS. .
