MINUTE ORDER <br /> CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />April 24, 1995 <br /> MO. 95-081 <br /> <br />CITY CLERK DEPARTMENT <br />Redwood City <br /> <br />DATE: April 25, 1995 <br /> <br />Attention: City Manager <br /> City Attorney <br /> Fire Chief <br /> <br />SUBJECT: San Mateo Special Olympics Power Lifting Program (205) <br /> <br />Meeting of the Council of the City of Redwood City on April 24, 1995 <br /> <br />Present: Councilmembers Buchan, HarmeR, Howard, La Berge, Sanfilipo, Steinfeld <br />Absent: Mayor Gasparini <br /> <br />The following motion was made and entered on the Minutes: <br /> <br /> Presentation by the San Mateo Special Olympics Power Lifting Program <br /> participants on their successes and their use of the Redwood City Fire <br /> Department Station No. 9; <br /> <br /> Mr. Larry McDonald, coach for the San Mateo Special Olympics athletes, <br /> advised the Council that the San Marco Special Olympics Power Lifting <br /> Program had started last year with seven athletes and now had fifteen athletes <br /> training one day a week at Fire Station No. 9. Mr. McDonald thanked Fire <br /> Prevention Officer Anderson, and Firefighters Collins and Buranzon for their <br /> help and support. Everyone was invited to attend the annual San Marco County <br /> Special Olympics Poweflifting Meet, Saturday, May 13, 1995, 8:30 A.M. to <br /> 3:30 P.M. at the American Legion, Post 105, 651 El Camino Real, Redwood <br /> City. <br /> <br />Arlyn C.
