, � , • WHK:yc:l/3/66-7 • :. ^ R E S O L U T I O N N O. �F�E / 7 _��_ RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT IN CONNECTION WITH THE WEED ABATEMENT PROGRAM IN THE.CITY OF REDWOOD.CITY Wf�REAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 4875, adopted December 20, 1965, the City Clerk called for bids for the letting of a contract for the performance of the spraying, diskinq and other work in connection with the Weed Abatement Program in�the City of Redwood City for the period October, 1965, through September, 1966; and WF�REAS, pursuant to said resolution, the City Clerk called for bids and filed with the City Manager the only bid received; and WF�REAS, JOHId C. THROCIQ�IORTON, doing business as NU-LAWN CI�MICAL COMPANY, is the only responsibile bidder and it is the inteation and desire of the Council to award said contract to John C. Throclnnorton, doing business as Nu-Lawn Chemical Company; NOiW, THEREFORE : BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: 1. That the bid of John C. Throclanorton, doing business as Nu-Lawn Chemical Company, for the performance of the work necessary to accomplish weed eradication by spraying, disking and other work in connection with the Weed Abatement Program in the City of Redwood City, California, according to the specifications ap- proved by Resolution No. 4875, be and the same is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby declared to be the only responsible bidder. Any irreqularities or informalities that may be contained in said bid are hereby waived. 2. That the City Manager be and he,is hereby authorized and directed to enter into and execute on behalf�of the City of Redwood •<; City that certain agreement entitled "Agreement" (form dated 1/3/66), between the City of Redwood City and John C.
