. � • REG:yc:l/3/66-7 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. afJ <br /> RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF A <br /> SANITARY SEWER AI�ID STORM DRAINAGE EASEMENT <br /> WF�REAS, the City Engineer has advised this Council that <br /> the hereinafter described portion of a sanitary sewer and storm <br /> drainaqe easement are `no lonqer' necessary 'or needed for public <br /> municipal purposes; and � <br /> WI�REAS,, tlie• portion of the sanitary sewer and storm drainage <br /> easement which is no longer necessary or needed for public <br /> municipal purposes is a portion of that certain sanitary sewer <br /> and storm drainage easement which was designated as such on that <br /> map entitled "Highlands of Emerald Lake Subdivision One," recorded <br /> January 12, 1926, in the office of the Recorder of San Mateo County, <br /> California, in Book 13 of Maps at pages 24 to 27 inclusive, and <br /> has not been used as such since that date; and <br /> WI�REAS, said easement is unnecessary for present or pros- <br /> pective public use; and <br /> Wf�REAS, Article 5(commencing at §50430) of Chapter 2, <br /> Part 1, Division 1, Title 5, of the Government Code provides a <br /> procedure for the vacation of easements by local authorities; <br /> NOW, THERSFORE; <br /> BS IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOI.LOWS: <br /> 1. The Council of the City of Redwood City hereby declares <br /> its intention to abandon the hereinafter descri.bed portion of a <br /> sanitary sewer and storm drainage easement pursuant to the afore- <br /> mentioned Government Code provisions. <br /> 2. The above mentioned portion of a sanitary sewer and <br /> storm drainage easement which is to be abandoned is described as <br /> follows: <br />
