- � � • REG:yc:l/3%66-7 <br /> a; <br /> �,, , <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. �� <br /> RESOLUTION VACATING AND ABAI�IDONING PORTION <br /> OF A..PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT q <br /> WE�REAS, pursuant to the provisions of Article 5(commenci.ng <br /> at §50430) of Chapter 2, Part 1, Division 1, Title 5, of the <br /> Government Code, the Council of the City of Redwood City has, by <br /> its Resolution No. 4855, adopted December 6, 1965, declared its <br /> intention to vacate a portion of a public utility easement, which <br /> easement is designated as such on that map entitled "Friend <br /> Industrial Tract," recorded December 31, 1940, in the off ice of <br /> the Recorder of San Mateo County, California, in Volume 23 of <br /> Maps at page 33F and i�e: <br /> WI�REAS, pursuant to said provisions, notice�of intention <br /> to vacate and abandon the above mentioned public utility easement <br /> has been published and posted; and <br /> WE�REAS, a public hearing has been held and evidence taken; <br /> NOW, TI�REFORE ; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The Council of the City of Redwood City finds (a) that <br /> the hereinafter described portion of a public utility easement <br /> has not been used for public utility easement purposes since the <br /> date of its designation as such and (b) that the easement is <br /> unnecessary for present or prospective public use. <br /> 2. The above mentioned public utility easement which is <br /> to be abandoned and vacated is descri.bed as follows: <br /> A portion of Lot 2, Block 2, as said lot and block are <br /> designated on that map entitled "Friend Industrial Tract," <br /> recorded December 31, 1940, in the office of the Recorder, <br /> of San Mateo County, California, in Volume 23 of Maps at <br /> page 33, being more partic�ilarly described as follows: <br /> BEGINNING at the northwest corner of said Lot 2; TI�NCE <br /> South 8 West along the westerly line of said lot a <br /> ' � <br /> �F <br />
