' Y . � WHK:yc:12/20/65-7 <br /> i; • <br /> , �, . � <br /> � R E S O L U T I O N N O. p S <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING RSVISED SPECIFICATIONS FOR WEED <br /> ABATEMENT IN THE CITY OF.REDWOOD CITY, AND AIITHORIZING <br /> TE� CITY CLERK TO READVERTISE FOR BIDS THEREFOR <br /> WF�REAS, Redwood City Code Chapter 14 provides for a pro- <br /> cedure whereby the eradication of undesirable vegetation in the <br /> City is to be accomplished; and <br /> WI�REAS, in order to accomplish such weed abatement program <br /> within the City of Redwood City, it is necessary and desirable,� <br /> that certain spraying, disking and other work be performed for <br /> the control and eradication of undesirable vegetation; and <br /> Wf�REAS, bidding for said work �,ras authorized and directed <br /> by this Council, but the one bid received was unacceptable by <br /> this Council and was rejected; and <br /> WI�REAS, revised specifications for such work have since <br /> been prepared by the City Engineer; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED'BY THE COUNCIL.OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: �- <br /> l:: Those.certain revised specifications erititled "General <br /> Specifications and Special Provisions for the Weed Abatement <br /> Program - October 1�5, thru September 1966," a copy of which is '� <br /> presently on file in the office of the City Engineer, are hereby <br /> approved. <br /> 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> readvertise for bids for the performance of spraying, disking <br /> and other work in accordanoe with the above mentioned revised <br /> specifications therefor, said advertisement to be in the form <br /> of that certain Notice to Contractors as set forth in the above <br /> mentioned revised specifications. <br /> x * * <br /> - �g7S <br />
