, . • ' • ' REG:yc:12/15/65 <br /> r,, . � `. <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. �/�(�e� <br /> RESOLUTION REJECTING BID RfiCEIVED FOR PERFORMANCE <br /> OF WEED.ABATEMENT WORK.IN THE.CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> WE�REF►S, ptirsuant to Resolution No. 4824, adopted November 15, <br /> 1965, the City Clerk called for bids for the performance of sprayinq <br /> and disking work in connection with the eradication of undesirable <br /> veqetation in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> Wt�REAS, pursuant to said call, one bid was received; and <br /> WE�REAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> reject said bid in that the same is a qualified and conditional <br /> bid and therefore invalid in that it dces not unconditionally <br /> mzet the requirements of the biddinq specifications; <br /> NOW, TF�REFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> The one and only bid received by the City of Redwood City, <br /> pursuant to call for bids authorized by Resolution No. 4824, for <br /> the performance of spraying and disking work in connection with <br /> the eradication of undesirable vegetation in the City of Redwood <br /> City is hereby rejected in that the same is a qualified and <br /> conditional bid and therefore invalid in that it dces not uncon- <br /> ditionally meet the requirements of the bidding specifications, � <br /> and the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return <br /> the security deposit received in connection with said bid. <br /> * * * <br /> 'f+0 (p� <br />
