"�'d Sd <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXCHANGE OF REAL PROPERTY <br /> CONSISTING OF EASEMENTS FOR PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES <br /> WITHIN LEPS-O'BRIEN SUBDIVISION . <br /> WF�REAS, public interest and necessity require the acquisi- <br /> tion of the hereinafter described property for municipal purposes <br /> which property consists of an easement for public utilities ' <br /> purposes; and <br /> Wf�REAS, certain other hereinafter described property belong- <br /> ing to the City of Redwood City is no longer needed for municipal <br /> purposes; and <br /> Wf�REAS, the Assessor of the City of Redwood City has, <br /> pursuant to the provisions of subdivision (h) of Section 3-1/2 <br /> of the Charter of the City of Redwood City made an appraisal of <br /> all the property hereinafter described and has determined that <br /> the value o£ the City property is equal to the property to be <br /> acquired in exchange; <br /> NOW, THERfiFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. That this Council hereby finds that the value of the <br /> property interests described below to be received by the City <br /> of Redwood City is equal to the value of the property interests <br /> described below to be conveyed by the City of Redwood City and � <br /> that the exchange is,in the public interest and necessity. <br /> 2. That the Mayor and City Clerk are�hereby authorized to <br /> convey by quit claim deed, without warranty express or implied, <br /> any interest the City of Redwood City may.have in the following <br /> parcels: <br /> (a) Those certain easements described as Parcels D and E <br /> in that certain deed recorded in the office of the <br /> Recorder of the County of San Mateo, State of California, <br /> in Volume 4916 of Official Records at page 715, on <br /> March 22, 1965. <br /> _ � �gSg <br />
