RESOLUTION N 1 -1 R ESOLUTION O THE PLANNING COMMISSION O THE CI REDWOOD CITY RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL of T CITY of REDWOOD CITY AMENDMENT O ARTICLE 60 ZONING MAP NO . 22 of ORDINANCE , 1130, THE REDWO CITY Z ONING ORDINANCE, AS AMENDED, TO REZONE PROPERTIES LOCATED WITHIN THE REDWOOD CITY DOWNTOWN OWN PRECISE PLAN AREA AS FUR'T'HER DESCRIBED IN THIS ORDINANCE FROM THE EXISTING NG ZONING DISTRICTS To THE PLANNED COMMUNITY DISTRICT, W HEREAS, implementation f the Downtown Precise Plan requ rezoning of the properties located within the Redwood City D owntown Precise Plan hereinafter described, from the existing zo ning districts, including but not limit to, Central Business ("C13 District , General Com erciai CG District" � .. entrap Administrative ( "CA District"), Neighborhood Commerc mercial "C District") Cent Business Retail ("CBR District"), General Commercial-Residential "CG.R Combinin District"), Multi- Family - ediur Density R District'), R-5 Nlultj�Family High Densi ("R-5 District"), Public Facility ("PF District's) to the Planned Com Distric ty nct Distrio ; and WHEREAS, after a duly noticed public hearing on December 14 , 201 0, the Planning Commission having considered the evidence received at the public hearin duly noticed and held for said proposed rezoning, finds that the Pro Posed rezoning is i the public interest and consistent w ith the purposes of the Redwood City Zonin O rdinance, and desires to refer to the City Council consideration of an amend ent to the Zoning Ordinance in the manner proposed and referenced above. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY As FOLLOWS: SECTION 1, The recitals set forth above are true and correct and are h ereb y incorporated by this reference as if fully set forth in their entirety. SECTION 2 r That the Planning Commission desires to refer to the City Council consideration of an amendment to the Redwood City Zoning Ordinance Ordinance I . o 1130, as amended), Article 60, Map No, 22, of the Fed vood City Zoning Ordinance a amended, in the manner proposed and referenced as follows; That real properties located within the Redwood ood City Downtown Precise Plan, Redwood City, Calrfrnia, as shown on the map which is attached as Exhibit "A" and referenced by Assessor's Parcel Numbers set forth in the attached Exhibit " are hereby rezoned from the existing zoning districts including but not limited to the zoning districts set forth above to the Attarso /Reno. 2062 110310
