02/27/2012 <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2379 <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY AMENDING SECTIONS 20.117 AND 20.118 OF DIVISION 4 AND <br /> SECTIONS 20.184 AND 20.186 OF DIVISfON 9 OF ARTICLE VII OF <br /> CHAPTER 20 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> RELATING TO PARKING IN THE DOWNTOWN AREA <br /> WHEREAS, Chapter 20, Article VII (Stopping, Standing and Parking) of the Code <br /> of the City of Redwood City establishes rules, regulations and procedures for parking <br /> within the City of Redwood City; and <br /> WHEREAS, due to evolving parking patterns related to changes in parking <br /> demand and downtown activity, the City desires to make revisions to Chapter 20, Article <br /> VII (Stopping, Standing and Parking) of the Code of the City of Redwood City. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY DOES <br /> ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1. In the following descriptions of the amendments to the Code, the text <br /> shown in bold italics (example) is being added, the text shown in strikeout (e�xar�p4e) is <br /> being deleted, and the language in brackets, [example] is explanatory only and not a <br /> part of the Ordinance. <br /> Section 2. Chapter 20, Article VII, Division 4, Section 20.117 (Establishment of <br /> Downtown Meter Zone Base Meter Rates for On-Street Parking Areas) is hereby <br /> amended to add to the table of base meter rates for on-street parking, in alphabetical <br /> order, the following street and rate: <br /> Street Side Limits Base Meter Rate (Per Hour) <br /> Monday through Monday through <br /> Friday, 10:00 Saturday, 10:00 <br /> A.M. to 6:00 P.M. A.M. to 6:00 P.M. <br /> Pennsylvania Northeasterly Jefferson $0.50 <br /> Avenue Avenue to <br /> Maple Street <br /> [The remainder of that code section shall continue in effect and is not changed by this <br /> addition, except to be reordered to add the new street in alphabetical order.] <br /> Section 3.
