ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> Heron Court Neighborhood Network Center <br /> <br /> Neighborhood Network Center <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this ~"8~ay of ~ ~ , <br />2003, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter city and municipal <br />corporation of the State of California ("City,') and Heron Court Neighborhood Network <br />Center, a California nonprofit organization ("Contractor") (collectively the "Parties"). <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor provides a computer learning center for youth and <br />seniors; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct <br />the program described in the attached Exhibit B (Contract Objectives), which is <br />incorporated herein by this reference (the "Program"), for residents of City during the <br />fiscal year commencing July 1,2003, and ending June 30, 2004; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Council has reviewed Contractor's request; finds that providing <br />the financial assistance will benefit Redwood City and its citizens; and, desires to <br /> <br />allocate to Contractor the sum of Six Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($6,000). <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the Parties hereby agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE. City will allocate to Contractor the sum of Six <br />Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($6,000) for exclusive use by Contractor during the fiscal <br />year commencing July 1, 2003, and ending June 30, 2004, solely for the purposes <br />described in Paragraph 2. <br /> <br /> 2: USE OF FUNDS. Contractor will use the funds provided pursuant to <br /> Paragraph 1 solely for the Program purposes described in Exhibits A (Budget) & B. <br /> <br /> 9/11/03 <br /> <br /> <br />
