FXS:dft ~/15/95 (045/38) <br /> _./17/95R <br /> 3/01/95R <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> 3/27/95 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12441 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT WITH THE LIPMAN COMPANY, INC., dba TLC <br /> ADMINISTRATORS, FOR THE ADMINISTRATION OF A FLEXIBLE <br /> BENEFIT PLAN FOR CITY EMPLOYEES <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has established a flexible <br />benefits plan for its employees; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Lipman Company, Inc., dba TLC Administrators <br />(formerly known as Lipman Insurance Administrators, Inc.; <br />"Contract Administrator"), is presently administering said <br />benefits plan pursuant to agreement; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council desires to enter into a new agreement <br />pursuant to which the Contract Administrator shall continue to <br />administer the flexible benefits plan; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for <br />approval an agreement between the City of Redwood City and the <br />Lipman Company Inc., dba TLC Administrators effective <br />retroactively from August 1, 1994, and it is the intention and <br /> <br />desire of this Council to approve the same; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement (form dated 3/01/95R), by and between <br />the City of Redwood City, a municipal corporation of the State of <br />California and the Lipman Company, Inc., dba TLC Administrators, <br />for the administration of the City's flexible benefits plan, a <br />copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City <br />Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full <br />particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager and <br /> <br /> <br />
