DES:djk ~/22/95 (084/39) <br /> DES:djk _ 03/95R <br /> <br /> 0 R I G I N A L 3/13/95 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12434 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR PURCHASE OF HEWLETT <br /> PACKARD 9000/G60 COMPUTER, ASSOCIATED SOFTWARE AND <br /> RELATED TECHNOLOGY; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> PURCHASE DOCUMENTS THEREFOR <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.65 of the <br />Code of the City of Redwood City, the City Manager caused public <br />notice inviting bids to be published for the purchase of a new <br />host computer (conversion from Prime to Unix), associated <br />software and related technology (the "Equipment") for the City of <br />Redwood City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication six bids were <br />received; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in/sync Data Products, Inc. of Irvine, California <br />is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and <br /> <br />desire of this Council to accept the bid thereof; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of in/sync Data Products, Inc. of Irvine, <br />California, in the total amount of One Hundred Ninety-five <br />Thousand Eight Hundred Seventeen and No/100 Dollars <br />($195,817.00), computed in accordance with said bidder's proposal <br />dated December 21, 1994 for the sale of said Equipment, which bid <br />is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which reference is <br />hereby made for the full particulars thereof, is hereby accepted, <br />and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest <br />responsible bidder for the sale of said Equipment to the City of <br />Redwood City. <br /> <br /> <br />
