DES:djk ~/03/95 (076/39) <br /> <br /> --0 R I G I N A L 2/~/95 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12404 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> PURCHASE DOCUMENTS FOR THE ACQUISITION OF ONE (1) <br /> PASSENGER VEHICLE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, written bids without public advertisement were <br />solicited for the purchase of one (1) passenger vehicle for the <br />Police Department; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said solicitation three bids were <br />received; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Fremont Ford of Newark, California, is the lowest <br />responsible bidder; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council desires to accept the bid of said <br />Fremont Ford; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Fremont Ford for the sale of one (1) <br />passenger vehicle to the City of Redwood City in the amount of <br />Eighteen Thousand One Hundred One and 56/100 Dollars ($18,101.56) <br />in accordance with said bidder's proposal dated January 17, 1995, <br />is hereby accepted, and said bidder is hereby declared to be the <br />lowest responsible bidder in response to solicitation for bids <br />without advertisement for said purchase. <br /> <br /> 2. Any and all informalities in the aforementioned bid of <br />Fremont Ford is, and each of them are, hereby waived. <br /> <br /> 3. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br />execute such purchase orders or other purchase documents (in form <br />approved by the City Attorney) to effectuate the purchase <br />approved hereby. <br /> <br /> * * * <br /> <br /> <br />
