FXS:dmp 1~'13/94 (035/38) <br /> FXS:dft 12~r14/94R <br /> <br /> 0 R I G I N A L 12/19/94 <br /> <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. 12377 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR TELEPHONE VOICE UPGRADE <br /> EQUIPMENT; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR THE <br /> PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF SAID EQUIPMENT <br /> <br /> (JWP TELECOM, INC.) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to a Request for Proposal, four bids were <br />received for the purchase and installation of telephone voice <br />upgrade and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, JWP Telecom, Inc., of South Hackensack, New Jersey, <br />is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and <br /> <br />desire of this Council to accept said bid of JWP Telecom, Inc.; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of JWP Telecom, Inc., in the amount of Sixty <br />Seven Thousand One Hundred Forty-Seven and No/100 Dollars <br />($67,147.00), computed in accordance with said bidder's proposal <br />dated October 26, 1994, for the sale and installation of <br />telephone voice upgrade equipment, is hereby accepted, and said <br />bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible <br />bidder for said work. <br /> <br /> 2. That certain agreement entitled "Sales Agreement" by <br />and between the City of Redwood City, a municipal corporation of <br />the State of California and JWP Telecom, Inc., a copy of which <br />agreement is on file in the Office of the City Clerk, to which <br />copy reference is hereby made for the full particulars thereof <br />providing for the sale and installation of telephone voice <br /> <br /> <br />
