DES:djk ~1/22/94 (047/39) <br /> 0 R I G I N A L 12/12/94 <br /> <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. 12372 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF ONE <br /> POLICE PATROL VEHICLE UNDER THE COOPERATIVE PURCHASE <br /> PROVISIONS OF LOS ANGELES COUNTY BID #R-248 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Redwood City Code Section 2.80 the City <br />of Redwood City may request any local agency as defined by <br />Section 54201 of the Califgrnia Government Code to purchase <br />materials, equipment, or supplies on behalf of the City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Los Angeles County bid #R-248 includes a <br />Cooperative Purchase Provision which offers other public agencies <br />the opportunity to purchase police vehicles from Wondries <br />Chevrolet; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the aforesaid bid of Los Angeles County conforms to <br />the requirements of Redwood City Code Section 2.80; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br />purchase one (1) police patrol vehicle from Wondries Chevrolet <br />pursuant to the Cooperative Purchase Provision of Los Angeles <br />County Bid #R-248; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br />execute all necessary and appropriate documents for and on behalf <br />of the City of Redwood City for the purchase of one (1) police <br />patrol vehicle from Wondries Chevrolet in the total amount of <br />Nineteen Thousand Nine Hundred Sixty-three and 47/100 Dollars <br />($19,963.47) pursuant to the Cooperative Purchase Provisions of <br /> <br /> <br />
