'21/94R <br /> <br /> 11/21/94 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12364 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DECLARING <br /> CANVASS OF RETURNS AND RESULT OF GENERAL MUNICIPAL <br /> ELECTION HELD ON NOVEMBER 8, 1994 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Council of Redwood City, by Resolution No. <br />12207, duly passed and adopted on June 13, 1994, called for the <br />general municipal election held on Tuesday November 8, 1994 and <br />requested consolidation thereof with the Statewide General <br />Election; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the County Clerk has prepared and forwarded to the <br />City Clerk the canvass of the votes received at the general <br /> <br />municipal election held on Tuesday, November 8, 1994; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The City Clerk of the City of Redwood City shall be, and <br />is hereby, instructed to enter this resolution on the minutes of <br />this Council as a statement of the result of said election. <br /> <br /> 2. The whole number of votes cast in said City at said <br />general municipal election was 21,040 votes. <br /> <br /> 3. The list of candidates nominated for the office of <br />Council member to be filled at said general municipal election <br />and the names of the candidates which were set forth in the <br />petitions assembled and filed with the City Clerk, as required by <br />law, and the number of votes cast in favor of each of the <br />candidates were as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />
