0 R I G I N A L 9/12/94 (08/29/94) RESOLUTION NO. 12332 RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH CHILD CARE COORDINATING COUNCIL OF SAN MATEO COUNTY, ON BEHALF OF THE REDWOOD CITY CHILD CARE CONSORTIUM WHEREAS, the Child Care Coordinating Council (4C's) of San Mateo County is a private, non-profit agency, established for the principal purpose of mobilizing, coordinating and developing resources toward the expansion of quality child care services and is experienced in promoting and guiding the implementation of a community wide plan to provide child care services to Redwood City children; and; WHEREAS, the Child Care Coordinating Council of San Mateo County has requested financial assistance for use by it in conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1994 and ending June 30, 1995, and; WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to pay to the Child Care Coordinating Council of San Mateo County, a private, non-profit agency the sum of FORTY ONE THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED SEVENTY FOUR AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($41,374.00) AND, WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an agreement between the City of Redwood City and the Child Care Coordinating Council of San Mateo County and it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve the same; NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: That certain agreement (form dated 08/29/94), by and between the City of Redwood City and the Child Care Coordinating Council of San Mateo County, a copy of which agreement' is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City.
