ORIGINAL. <br />PURCHASE AGREEMENT <br />BETWEEN THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY AND PENINSULA HABITAT FOR HUMANITY <br />(3426 to 3486 Rolison Road and 1181 Haven Avenue) <br />THIS AGREEMENT entered into19. ?nom , by and between the <br />Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redwood City (hereafter referred to as <br />"Seller") and Peninsula Habitat for Humanity, Inc. (hereafter referred to <br />As "Buyer"). <br />Seller agrees to sell and convey, and Buyer agrees to purchase, the real <br />property situated in city of Redwood City, San Mateo County, California, <br />located at 3426 to 3486 Rolison Road and 1181 Haven Avenue (hereafter <br />referred to as "The Property"), and more particularly described in Exhibit A, which <br />is attached hereto and incorporated by reference, on the following terms and <br />conditions: <br />ARTICLE 1. PURCHASE PRICE <br />Amount and Terms of Payment <br />Section 1.01. The total purchase price of the Property is $-0- ($-0-), payable by <br />Buyer to seller as follows: <br />The purchase price shall be paid into escrow during business hours at least five <br />(5) days prior to the close of escrow. This amount shall be payable to Fidelity <br />Title, in cash, certified or cashier's check or wire transfer. �. <br />Consequences of Buyer's Default <br />Section 1.02 if Buyer defaults in the performance of this Agreement, the sum of <br />Five Thousand and no/100 ($5,000.00) shall be forfeited by Buyer as provided in <br />Section 5.02. In the event this Agreement is terminated for any other reason, the <br />deposit shall be refunded to Buyer pursuant to Section 3.03. <br />ARTICLE 2. ESCROW <br />Opening of Escrow <br />Section 2.01. An escrow shall be opened to consummate the sale of the Property <br />according to the terms of this Agreement at the office of Fidelity Title -(hereafter <br />referred to as "escrow holder") at 900 Veterans Blvd., Redwood City, California. <br />The escrow shall be opened within ten days after the execution of this <br />Agreement. Written escrow instructions in accordance with the terms of this <br />Agreement shall be prepared jointly, and the instructions shall be signed by the <br />
