0 R I G I N A L (8-29-94) R E S O L U T I O N N O. 12314 9/12/94 RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH CATHOLIC CHARITIES OF THE ARCHDIOCESE OF SAN FRANCISCO WHEREAS, the Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of San Francisco has been established for the principal purpose to serve, empower and advocate on behalf of the poor, frail and needy, in San Francisco, Matin and San Mateo Counties; and WHEREAS, the Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of San Francisco has requested financial assistance in order to conduct its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1994 and ending June 30, 1995; and WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to allocate to the Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of San Francisco the sum of THREE-THOUSAND THREE-HUNDRED AND TEN DOLLARS ($3,310.00); and WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been presented to, and reviewed by, this Council; and WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said agreement and authorize its execution; NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL, OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: That certain agreement entitled, "AGREEMENT" (form dated 8-29-94), by and between the City of Redwood City, a municipal corporation of the State of California and the Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of San Francisco, a non-profit corporation of the State of California, a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute, and attest to, respectively, said agreement for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City.
