FXS:dft ~ '~7/94 (012/38) <br /> 0 R I G I N A L 9/12/94 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12306 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT FOR ESCROW SERVICES RELATED TO THE HOUSING <br /> REHABILITATION PROGRAM <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a below-market interest rate improvement loan <br />program has been created by the City, utilizing a payback of <br />funds provided by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban <br />Development, for the purpose of improving the housing stock <br />within Redwood City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City desires to engage United States Escrow, <br />Inc., to render escrow and related services in connection with <br />loans made by the City for residential improvements; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Contractor represents that it is qualified to <br /> <br />perform services under this contract; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain Agreement by and between and the City of <br />Redwood City and United States Escrow, Inc. entitled, "Service <br />Agreement By And Between The City Of Redwood City And United <br />States Escrow, Inc." for escrow and other related services, a <br />copy of which Agreement is on file in the office of the City <br />Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full <br />particulars thereof, is hereby approved; and the City Manager and <br />City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute and to attest <br />thereto, respectively, said Agreement for and on behalf of the <br />city of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> <br />
