ORIGINAL <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 15190 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPLICATION BY THE CITY OF <br /> REDWOOD CITY TO THE LOCAL AGENCY FORMATION <br /> COMMISSION REQUESTING APPROVAL FOR EXTENSION OF <br /> WATER SERVICE OUTSIDE JURISDICTIONAL BOUNDARIES <br /> PURSUANT TO GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 56133 <br /> WHEREAS, the property located at 930 Far Creek Way, Unincorporated San <br /> Mateo County, California (APN 068-194-220) (the "Property"), is outside the City's <br /> jurisdictional boundaries, but inside City's sphere of influence and water service area; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the County of San Mateo is processing an application to subdivide <br /> the original lot at 930 Far Creek Way into two parcels: Parcel A and Parcel B; with the <br /> existing residence located on Parcel A; and <br /> WHEREAS, the County of San Mateo is also processing an application for a <br /> building permit to construct a new single family home on Parcel B; and <br /> WHEREAS, the County of San Mateo's approval of the proposed subdivision and <br /> development of Parcel B is conditioned upon the Property owner obtaining a new water <br /> connection and service from the City of Redwood C�ity; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Woodside Fire Department has determined that a fire <br /> hydrant is required in the immediate area to mitigate an existing public safety <br /> hazard; <br /> WHEREAS, the Property owner has requested that the City of Redwood City <br /> provide water service to Parcel B; and <br /> ATTY/RES0.2231NVATER CONNECTION & SERVICE 930 FAR CREEK WAY <br /> REV:05-01-12 VR <br /> Page 1 of 3 <br />
