DES:djk f /19/94 (017/39) <br /> <br /> 0 R I G I N A L 8/29/94 <br /> <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. 12300 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE SLURRY SEAL PROJECT <br /> 1994; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; <br /> AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 12201, adopted June 13, <br />1994, the City Clerk advertised for bids for the Slurry Seal <br />Project 1994, Redwood City, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, four bids were <br />received for the performance of said work and filed with the City <br />Clerk; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, American Asphalt Repair & Resurfacing Co., Inc. of <br />San Jose, California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is <br />the intention and desire of this Council to accept said bid of <br /> <br />American Asphalt Repair & Resurfacing Co., Inc.; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of American Asphalt Repair & Resurfacing Co., <br />Inc., in the amount of One Hundred Five-two Thousand Nine Hundred <br />Seventy and 69/100 Dollars ($152,970.69), computed in accordance <br />with said bidder's proposal dated August 17, 1994 for the Slurry <br />Seal Project 1994, is hereby accepted, and said bidder is hereby <br />found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said <br />work. <br /> <br /> 2. That certain agreement entitled "Agreement" (form dated <br />08/19/94) by and between the City of Redwood City, a municipal <br />corporation of the State of California and American Asphalt <br />Repair & Resurfacing Co., Inc., a copy of which agreement is on <br /> <br /> <br />
