FXS:dfJ 8/2/94 (003/38) <br /> ~- 8/3/94R <br /> <br /> 0 R I G I N A L 8/15/94 <br /> <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. 12290 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT FOR ARTISTIC SERVICES - FABRICATION, <br /> TRANSPORTATION AND INSTALLATION OF SCULPTURE - <br /> REDWOOD CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT <br /> <br /> (ANTE BULJAN) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City ("City") desires to erect <br />a sculpture at the Redwood City Police Facilities (the <br />"Project"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, the City requires <br />artistic services; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has reviewed proposals from several <br />artists in connection with the services to be rendered hereunder; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Ante Buljan of San Mateo, California, represents <br />that he is qualified on the basis of experience, expertise and <br />artistic talent to perform the aforesaid services required for <br />the Project; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement entitled "Agreement For Fabrication, <br />Transportation, and Installation of Sculpture At The Redwood City <br />Police Department" (form dated 7/28/94R), by and between the City <br />of Redwood City, a municipal corporation of the State of <br />California and Ante Buljan, for the performance of the <br />above-mentioned services, a copy of which agreement is on file in <br />the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby <br /> <br /> <br />
