DES:d~~- 08/08/94 (012/39) <br /> <br /> 0 R I G I N A L 8/15/94 <br /> <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. 12287 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE MANHOLE RAISING <br /> PROJECT 1994; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR <br /> SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 12202, adopted June 13, <br />1994, the City Clerk advertised for bids for the Manhole Raising <br />Project 1994, Redwood City, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, fourteen bids were <br />received for the performance of said work and filed with the City <br />Clerk; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Detrick Corporation of San Jose, California, is the <br />lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to accept said bid of Derrick Corporation; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Detrick Corporation, in the amount of One <br />Hundred Five Thousand Two Hundred Fifty and No/100 Dollars <br />($105,250.00), computed in accordance with said bidder's proposal <br />dated August 3, 1994, for the Manhole Raising Project 1994, is <br />hereby accepted, and said bidder is hereby found and declared to <br />be the lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br /> 2. That certain agreement entitled "Agreement" (form dated <br />08/08/94) by and between the City of Redwood City, a municipal <br />corporation of the State of California and Detrick Corporation, a <br />copy of which agreement is on file in the Office of the City <br />Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for the full <br />particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager and <br /> <br /> <br />
