DES:dj~ 08/08/94 (011/39) <br /> 0 R I G I N A L 8/15/94 <br /> <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. 12286 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> SERVICE AGREEMENT FOR EMPLOYEE UNIFORM SERVICES <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, written bids without public advertisement were <br />solicited for employee uniform services to be utilized by the <br />Department of General Services; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said solicitation four bids were <br />received; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Aratex Services, Inc. of South San Francisco, <br />California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the <br /> <br />intention and desire of this Council to accept the bid thereof; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Aratex Services, Inc. for employee uniform <br />services to the City of Redwood City in the amount of Sixteen <br />Thousand Six Hundred and No/100 Dollars ($16,600.00), is hereby <br />accepted, and said bidder is hereby declared to be the lowest <br />responsible bidder in response to solicitation for bids without <br />advertisement for said service. <br /> <br /> 2. Any and all informalities in the aforementioned bid of <br />Aratex Services, Inc. is, and each of them are, hereby waived. <br /> <br /> 3. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br />execute such purchase orders and to entered into the service <br />agreement (in form approved by the City Attorney) to effectuate <br />the service approved hereby. <br /> <br /> <br />
