VXS:dft -'29/94 (001e/38) <br /> ~09/94R <br /> <br /> 0 R I G I N A L 8/15/94 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. 12282 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT WITH MIDPENINSULA CITIZENS FOR FAIR HOUSING <br /> <br /> (FAIR HOUSING COUNSELING PROGRAM) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Midpeninsula Citizens for Fair Housing <br />("Contractor") conducts a fair housing counseling program for <br />residents of the City of Redwood City (the "Program"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in <br />order to conduct the Program during the fiscal year commencing <br />July 1, 1994, and ending June 30, 1995; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request <br />and desires to allocate to Contractor, the sum of Thirty-Three <br />Thousand Seventy-Five and No/100 Dollars ($33,075.00) from its <br />Community Development Block Grant funds for the foregoing <br />purposes; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been <br />presented to, and reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />approve said agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement entitled, "Midpeninsula Citizens for <br />Fair Housing (Fair Housing Counseling Program)", (form dated <br />8/09/94R), by and between the City of Redwood City and <br />Midpeninsula Citizens for Fair Housing, a copy of which agreement <br /> <br /> <br />
