FXS :dft ";27/94 (001d/38) <br /> · ~/09/94R <br /> <br /> 0 R I G I N A L 8/15/94 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. 12279 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT WITH MENTAL HEALTH ASSOCIATION OF SAN <br /> MATEO COI~TY <br /> <br /> (SPRING STREET SHELTER) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mental Health Association of San Mateo County <br />("Contractor") conducts an emergency shelter program for homeless <br />residents with mental disabilities in the City of Redwood City <br />(the "Program"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in <br />order to conduct the Program during the fiscal year commencing <br />July 1, 1994, and ending June 30, 1995; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request <br />and desires to allocate to Contractor, the sum of Fifteen <br />Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($15,000.00) from its Community <br />Development Block Grant funds for the foregoing purposes; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been <br />presented to, and reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />approve said agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement entitled, "Mental Health Association <br />of San Mateo County (Spring Street Shelter)", (form dated <br />8/09/94R), by and between the City of Redwood City and Mental <br />Health Association of San Mateo County, a copy of which agreement <br /> <br /> <br />
