 FXS:dft -;27/94 (001g/38) <br /> ~/09/94R <br /> 0 R I G I N A L 8/15/94 <br /> <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. 12278 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT WITH SHELTER NETWORK OF SAN MATEO <br /> COUNTY <br /> <br /> (REDWOOD FAMILY HOUSE <br /> TRADITIONAL HOUSING PROGRAM) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Shelter Network of San Mateo County ("Contractor") <br />conducts a traditional housing program for homeless families of <br />the City of Redwood City (the "Program"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in <br />order to conduct the Program during the fiscal year commencing <br />July 1, 1994, and ending June 30, 1995; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request <br />and desires to allocate to Contractor, the sum of Eighty Thousand <br />and No/100 Dollars ($80,000.00) from its Community Development <br />Block Grant and Human Services Financial Assistance funds <br />($50,000.00 and $30,000.00, respectively) for the foregoing <br />purposes; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been <br />presented to, and reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />approve said agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement entitled, "Shelter Network of San <br />Mateo County Redwood Family House-Transitional Housing Program", <br />(form dated 8/09/94R), by and between the City of Redwood City <br />and Shelter Network of San Mateo County, a copy of which <br /> <br /> <br />
