FXS:dft ~t27/94 (0011/38) <br /> ~/09/94R <br /> 0 R I G I N A L 8/15/94 <br /> <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. 12277 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT WITH HUMAN INVESTMENT PROJECT, INC. <br /> <br /> (SHARED HOUSING PROGRAM) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Human Investment Project, Inc., ("Contractor") <br /> conducts a shared homes program for residents of the City of <br /> Redwood City (the "Program"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in <br />order to conduct the Program during the fiscal year commencing <br />July 1, 1994, and ending June 30, 1995; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request <br />and desires to allocate to Contractor, the sum of Twenty-Two <br />Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($22,000.00) from its Community <br />Development Block Grant funds for the foregoing purposes; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been <br />presented to, and reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />approve said agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement entitled, "Human Investment Project, <br />Inc., (Shared Housing Program)", (form dated 8/09/94R), by and <br />between the City of Redwood City and Human Investment Project, <br />Inc., a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the <br />City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full <br />particulars thereof is hereby approved and the City Manager and <br /> <br /> <br />
