VXS:dft 7'~7/94 (001h/38) <br /> 8~9/94R <br /> 8/15/94R <br /> 0 R I G I N A L 8/15/94 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12274 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT WITH ELLIPSE PENINSULA AIDS SERVICE <br /> <br /> (SOUTH COUNTY AIDS CASE WORK PROGRAM) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Ellipse Peninsula Aids Service ("Contractor") <br />conducts a housing assistance program for residents of the City <br />of Redwood City (the "Program") with HIV related disabilities; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in <br />order to conduct the Program during the fiscal year commencing <br />July 1, 1994, and ending June 30, 1995; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request <br />and desires to allocate to Contractor, the sum of Twenty-Three <br />Thousand Three Hundred Fifty and No/100 Dollars ($23,350.00) from <br />its Community Development Block Grant funds for the foregoing <br />purposes; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been <br />presented to, and reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />approve said agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement entitled, "Ellipse Peninsula Aids <br />Service South County Aids Case Work Program", (form dated <br />8/09/94R), by and between the City of Redwood City and Ellipse <br />Peninsula Aids Service, a copy of which agreement is on file in <br /> <br /> <br />
