FXS:dft ~/27/94 (001a/38) <br /> - -~/09/94R <br /> 0 R I G I N A L 8/15/94 <br /> <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O.12271 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT WITH PENINSULA VOLUNTEERS, INC. <br /> <br /> (ADULT DAY SUPPORT SERVICES <br /> FOR REDWOOD CITY SENIORS) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Peninsula Volunteers, Inc., ("Contractor") conducts <br />an adult day support services program for Redwood City seniors of <br />the City of Redwood City (the "Program"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in <br />order to conduct the Program during the fiscal year commencing <br />July 1, 1994, and ending June 30, 1995; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request <br />and desires to allocate to Contractor, the sum of Twelve Thousand <br />Five Hundred and No/100 Dollars ($12,500.00) from its Community <br />Development Block Grant funds for the foregoing purposes; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been <br />presented to, and reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />approve said agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement entitled, "Peninsula Volunteers, <br />Inc. (Adult Day Support Services for Redwood City Seniors)", <br />(form dated 8/09/94R), by and between the City of Redwood City <br />and Peninsula Volunteers, Inc., a copy of which agreement is on <br />file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is <br />hereby made for full particulars thereof is hereby approved and <br /> <br /> <br />
