DES:dj~ 07/20/94 (120/37) <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> --' 8/1/94 <br /> <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. 12257 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE ASPHALT RUBBER CHIP <br /> SEAL PROJECT 1994; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT <br /> FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY <br /> DEPOSITS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 12200, adopted June 13, <br />1994, the City Clerk advertised for bids for the Asphalt Rubber <br />Chip Seal Project 1994, Redwood City, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, four bids were <br />received for the performance of said work and filed with the City <br />Clerk; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Franklin Construction, Inc., of Paradise, <br />California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the <br />intention and desire of this Council to accept said bid of <br /> <br />Franklin Construction, Inc.; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Franklin Construction, Inc., in the amount <br />of Four Hundred Seventy Thousand Six Hundred Five and 30/100 <br />Dollars ($470,605.30), computed in accordance with said bidder's <br />proposal dated July 5, 1994, for the Asphalt Rubber Chip Seal <br />Project 1994, is hereby accepted, and said bidder is hereby found <br />and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br /> 2. That certain agreement entitled "Agreement" (form dated <br />07/20/94) by and between the City of Redwood City, a municipal <br />corporation of the State of California and Franklin Construction, <br />Inc., a copy of which agreement is on file in the Office of the <br /> <br /> <br />
