CALL TO ORDER <br /> 2. ROLL CALL - all present <br /> Staff Present: City Manager Bell, City Attorney Thompson, City Clerk <br /> Vonderlinden, Deputy City Clerk Wong, Community <br /> Development Director Ekern, Senior Planner Lyon, Downtown <br /> Development Coordinator Zack, and Public Works Assistant <br /> Director Kyaw <br /> 3. PUBLIC COMMENT— <br /> Ramona Ambrozic, spoke about the merits of the Downtown Precise Plan and <br /> opined that both competing projects for Block 2 have merits but the housing <br /> component should be kept in mind to allow downtown restaurants and shops to <br /> thrive and succeed with support from nearby residents. <br /> Vice Mayor Gee requested that City Attorney Thompson make comments <br /> regarding his situation. The City Attorney made note that after an analysis of <br /> Government Code Section 1090 she has concluded that Vice Mayor Gee does <br /> not have conflict of interest because there is no real or direct financial <br /> interest/benefit.
