� = Y DES:d;ti. 11/27/96 (040/39) <br /> 12/16/96 <br /> 0 R I G I N A L <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. 12971 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL SURVEYING SERVICES - <br /> 1996-1997 WATERLINE REPLACEMENT PROJECT <br /> (SANDIS HUMBER JONES) <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City requires the replacement <br /> of old and deteriorated waterlines in various locations <br /> throughout the City of Redwood City (the "Project") ; and <br /> WHEREAS , in connection with the Project, the City of Redwood <br /> City requires professional topographic surveying services; and <br /> WHEREAS, Sandis Humber Jones of Mountain View, California <br /> represents that it is qualified on the basis of experience and <br /> expertise to perform the aforesaid services required for the <br /> Project; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> That certain agreement entitled "Agreement - Professional <br /> Surveying Services - 1996-1997 Waterline Replacement Project" <br /> (form dated 11/27/96) , by and between the City of Redwood City, a <br /> municipal corporation of the State of California and Sandis <br /> Humber Jones, for the performance of the above-mentioned <br /> services, a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of <br /> the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for the <br /> full particulars thereof, is hereby approved and the City Manager <br /> and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute and <br /> to attest thereto, respectively, said agreement for and on behalf <br /> of the City of Redwood City. <br /> * � * <br /> 12971 <br />
