C"'"4:em: 9/11/74 <br /> ORIGJ�A�. <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. l � V SEp 1� .?4 <br /> RESOLUTION AWARDING COATTRACT FOR REDWOOD SHORES LEVEE <br /> MAINTENANCE 1974-75 : AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF CONTRACT <br /> FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSIT <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 7240, adopted August <br /> 12, 1974, the City Clerk called for bids for Redwood Shores Levee <br /> Maintenance 1974-75, in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> � WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and filed <br /> with the City Clerk for the performance of said work; and <br /> WHEREAS, COVEY TRUCKING COMPANY, Burlingame, California, is <br /> the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire <br /> of this Council to award said bid to said Covey Trucking Company, <br /> to waive any informality in the bid of the above mentioned low <br /> bidder, and to reject any and all other bids received for said <br /> work; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF TfiE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The bid of Covey Tru�king Company, in the total lump sum <br /> amount of Sixty-three Thousand Nine Hundred Fifty-six and noJ100 <br /> Dollars ($63, 956 .00) in accordance with the bidder's proposal <br /> dated September 10, 1974 for Redwood Shores Levee Maintenance <br /> 1974-75 in accordance with the plans and specifications therefor <br /> on file in the office of the City Engineer, is hereby accepted <br /> and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest <br /> responsible bidder for said work. <br /> 2. Any and all bids received by the City of Redwood City <br /> for the above mentioned work, other than the bid mentioned in <br />
