r <br /> CGM:yc: 8/22/74 <br /> . <br /> aRrc��A� <br /> pll� 2 6 1974 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N 0. ���� <br /> RESOLUTION EXERCISING OPTION TO EXTEND AGREEMENT FOR <br /> GARMENT AND CLOTH SHOP SUPPLIES - RENTAL SERVICE AND <br /> LAUNDRY SERVICE FOR CITY-OWNED PROPERTY <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City, on the 31st day of August, <br /> 1973, entered into an agreement with Carlos Cleaners & Launderers, <br /> Inc. , San Carlos, California, for the furnishing of garment and <br /> cloth shop supplies - rental service and laundry service for <br /> City-owned property to the City of Redwood City; and <br /> WHEREAS, paragraph 1 of said agreement provides for the <br /> extension thereof by the City of Redwood City of additional one- <br /> year periods; and <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> exercise the option granted to the City of Redwood City in said <br /> paragraph 1 for the extension of said agreement for and during <br /> the one-year period commencing September 1, 1974, and terminating <br /> August 31, 1975; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CI�I'Y, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. Pursuant to the provisions of paragraph 1 of that certain <br /> agreement dated August 31, 1973, by and between the City of <br /> Redwood City and Carlos Cleaners & Launderers, Inc. , the City of <br /> Redwood City hereby exercises its option to extend said agreement <br /> for an additional one-year period commencing September l, 1974 , <br /> and terminating August 31, 1975, and said agreement is hereby so <br /> extended. <br /> 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to transmit <br /> a certified copy of this resolution to Carlos Cleaners & Launderers, <br /> Inc. <br /> * * * <br /> � � c) `� <br />
