i <br /> CGM:wg:8/29/74 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. <br /> � � ` 9 ��P 2 3 ��7� <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT oRl�7��� <br /> FOR LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES IN CONNECTION WITH THE <br /> PREPARATION OF A MASTER PLAN FOR PALM PARK, IN THE CITY OF <br /> REDWOOD CITY <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City requires expert landscape <br /> architPCtural services for the preparation of a master plan for <br /> Palm Park in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> WH�REAS, the City of Redwood City desires to engage a land- <br /> scape architect to perform such services including, but not limited <br /> to, a schematic master plan and narrative description of the pro- <br /> posed utilization of the aforementioned park, a completed master <br /> plan and narrative description of the proposed utilization of the <br /> aforementioned park, and the preparation of a report describing <br /> the completed mast�r plan; and <br /> WHEREAS, Singer and Hodges has represented to the City that <br /> it is uniquely qualified and experienced to perform all of the <br /> services referred to aforesaid; and <br /> WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council an agreemEni� <br /> by and between the City of Redwood City and Singer and Hodges for <br /> the performance of the aforesaid landscape architectural servi.ces, <br /> and it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said <br /> contract and authorize its execution; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLL04V5 : <br /> That certain agreement entitled "Agreement f�r the Preparation <br /> of a Master Plan for Palm Park in the City of Redwood City", by <br /> and between the City of Redwood City and Singer and Hodges , a copy <br /> of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to <br /> which copy reference is made for the full terms and conditions <br /> thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby autho- <br /> rized and directed to execute said agreement for and on behalf of <br /> the City of Redwood City. <br /> * � � <br /> � � � � <br /> I <br />
