Whitson have <br /> heretofore entered into an agreement dated November 29, 1973, as <br /> amended by an agreement dated June 19, 1974, for urban design <br /> consulting services in connection with the design of street <br /> furniture and with the design of certain curb alignments for the <br /> downtown area of the City of Redwood City; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City requires additional urban design consulting <br /> services for preparation of construction drawings for street <br /> furniture and curb alignments on Phase II and Phase III of the <br /> Downtown Improvement Project for the downtown area of the City; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, Thomas C. Whitson has represented to the City that <br /> he is qualified to perform the aforesaid additional urban design <br /> services; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City and Thomas C . Whitson desire <br /> to enter into an agreement for Thomas C. Whitson to furnish to <br /> the City the aforesaid additional design services; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS : <br /> 1. That certain agreement entitled "Amendment to Agreement - <br /> Consulting Services - Urban Design" (form dated 9/20/74) , by and <br /> -between the City of Redwood City and Thomas C. Whitson, a copy <br /> of which is presently on file in the office of the City Clerk to <br /> which copy reference is hereby made concerning the full particulars <br /> thereof, is hereby approved and the City Manager is hereby authorized <br /> and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of <br /> Redwood City. <br /> * * * <br /> '72g � <br /> � <br />
