i <br /> MSR:dp:10/10/74 <br /> ���I�li�sr`�L„ <br /> R E S 0 L U T I O N N 0 . <br /> �' 2 � 0 �T 1�} 74 <br /> RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE FURNISHING <br /> AND INSTALLATION OF STEEL BOOK STACKS <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 7277, adopted September 23 , <br /> 1974, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing and installa- <br /> tion of steel book stacks, to be used for municipal purposes ; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and filed <br /> with the City Clerk for the furnishing and installation of said <br /> equipment; and <br /> WHEREAS, J. H. COMEY COMPANY, Palo Alto, California is the <br /> lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing and installation of said <br /> equipment, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> award said bid to J. H. Comey Company; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOGD CITY, <br /> AS FOL�LOWS : <br /> l. The bid of J. H. Comey Company, in the total net delivered <br /> price to the City of Redwood City of Eleven Thousand Seven Hur.dred <br /> Sixty and 21/100 Dollars ($11, 760.21) , for the furnishing and <br /> installation of steel book stacks, in accordance with the specifi- <br /> cations therefor, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby <br /> declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing <br /> of said equipment. <br /> 2 . Any informalities in the bid mentioned in paragraph 1 <br /> hereof are hereby waived. <br /> 3 . The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an <br /> agreement with J. H Comey Company for the furnishing and installa- <br /> tion of the above mentioned equipment in accordance with and <br /> � � � � <br /> I <br />
