CGM:4: 5/11/78 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 8063 ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF MAY 15 1978 <br /> REVOCABLE ENCROACHMENT PERMIT RELATING TO USE FOR <br /> BRIDGE PURPOSES OF CERTAIN CITY-OWNED REAL PROPERTY <br /> WHEREAS , Western Real Estate Development Corporation has <br /> requested that the City of Redwood City grant a revocable encroach- <br /> ment permit for bridge purposes on certain City-owned real property <br /> (vicinity of Convention Way and Main Street) , shown on "Exhibit A" <br /> of that certain revocable encroachment permit attached hereto in <br /> connection with a construction of a bridge to be utilized for <br /> traffic access purposes for a commercial development of Western <br /> Real Estate Development Corporation in the immediate vicinity; and <br /> WHEREAS , it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> grant a revocable encroachment permit permitting such use, subject <br /> to certain designated terms and conditions; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS : <br /> 1. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a <br /> revocable encroachment permit to Western Real Estate Development <br /> Corporation for the construction and utilization of a bridge on <br /> that certain City-owned real property, more particularly shown in <br /> "Exhibit A" of that certain revocable encroachment permit attached <br /> hereto and by this reference incorporated herein, which permit shall <br /> not be effective until such time as Western Real Estate Development <br /> Corporation executes an acceptance of its terms and conditions. <br /> 2 . That the permit granted shall be in the form of that certain <br /> permit entitled "Grant of Revocable Encroachment Permit - Bridge <br /> Purposes" (form dated 5/11/78) , attached hereto and incorporated <br /> herein as if set out at length herein. <br />
