P- 2206 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING SUBMISSION OF REQUEST TO CITY <br /> OF REDWOOD CITY TO ALLOW ESTABLISHMENT OF PORT OF <br /> REDWOOD CITY SUB-ACCOUNT FOR PREFUNDING OTHER POST <br /> EMPLOYMENT BENEFITS THROUGH CALPERS CALIFORNIA <br /> EMPLOYER'S RETIREE BENEFIT TRUST PROGRAM ("CERBT") <br /> AND TO APPROVE DESIGNATION OF CERTAIN POSITIONS AS <br /> AUTHORIZED TO REQUEST DISBURSEMENTS THEREFROM <br /> WHEREAS, Resolution No. P-2132, Resolution Establishing Funding Policy <br /> for Postemployment Benefits Other Than Pension, was adopted by the Board of Port <br /> Commissioners of the City of Redwood City on April 13, 2011; and <br /> WHEREAS, Resolution No. P-2132 directed application to be made to the <br /> California Employers' Retiree Benefit Trust ("CERBT") for participation in the CERBT <br /> program for the purpose of prefunding the Postemployment Benefits Other Than <br /> Pension ("OPEB") expense and liability of the Port of Redwood City; and <br /> WHEREAS, Resolution No. P-2137, Resolution Approving Submission of <br /> Agreement and Election to Prefund Other Post Employment Benefits Through <br /> Calipers California Employer's Retiree Benefit Trust Program ("CERBT"), approved <br /> execution and submission of the document entitled "California Employer's Retiree <br /> Benefit Trust Program ("CERBT") Agreement and Election of the Port of Redwood <br /> City to Prefund Other Post Employment Benefits Through Calipers"; and <br /> WHEREAS, Resolution No. P-2138, Resolution Approving Submission of <br /> Delegation of Authority to Request Disbursements Form to Calipers California <br /> Employer's Retiree Benefit Trust Program ("CERBT"), approved execution and <br /> submission of the document entitled "Delegation of Authority to Request <br /> Disbursements", which named the positions of Chairman of the Board of Port <br /> Commissioners and Executive Director of the Port of Redwood City as authorized to <br /> request disbursements from the CERBT fund; and <br /> WHEREAS, the aforementioned documents were submitted to CERBT as <br /> required by its application process; and <br /> Port of RWC/CH/05.08.13 �� <br /> Reso 204 � <br />
