<br /> 06/24/2013 <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2395 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY AMENDING <br />SECTION 38.5 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO WATER SERVICE CHARGES AND <br />FEES <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS <br /> <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1. <br /> Section 38.5 of the Redwood City Municipal Code is hereby <br />amended in its entirety to read as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 38.5. WATER SERVICE CHARGE: <br /> <br /> <br /> In addition to all other charges and fees applicable to users of water from the <br />water system owned or operated by the City of Redwood City, as established by the <br />Water Rules and Regulations of the of Public Works Division of the Community <br />Development Department, as amended, and this chapter, residential and non- <br />residential monthly water service charges shall be paid for each water service within the <br />water service areas and at the rate and upon the effective date as follows: <br /> <br />(a) Residential Water Service Charge. <br /> A monthly water service charge for <br />each dwelling unit or dwelling unit equivalent (“DUE”) for each such unit used, or <br />intended for use, as a single-family residential dwelling, irrespective of whether <br />such service is furnished through a single meter for multiple dwelling units or <br />through individual meters for each dwelling unit, is hereby established as follows: <br /> <br />Water Service Area Service Charge per DUE* Per Month <br /> <br /> <br />Effective Date:08/01/13 <br /> <br />1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 $23.98 <br /> <br /> <br />Effective Date:07/01/14 <br /> <br />1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 $26.13 <br /> <br /> <br />Effective Date:07/01/15 <br /> <br />1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 $28.49 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />ATTY/ORD. 391 WATER RATE INCREASE ORD. # 2395 <br />REV: 5-23-13 MLG FORMERLY MUFF # 802 <br /> <br />Page 1 of 5 <br /> <br />
