MSR:lt:10/10/73 <br /> r <br /> 4 <br /> Oct 15, 73 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. 7019 ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE FURNISHING OF <br /> TWO TRAILER MOUNTED AIR COMPRESSORS 150 CFM; AND <br /> REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 6999, adopted September 17, <br /> 1973, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing of two <br /> trailer mounted air compressors 150 CFM, to be used for municipal <br /> purposes; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and filed <br /> with the City Clerk for the furnishing of said equipment; and <br /> WHEREAS, EDWARD R. BACON COMPANY, San Jose, California, is <br /> the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said equip- <br /> ment, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to award <br /> said bid to Edward R. Bacon Company; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The bid of Edward R. Bacon Company, in the total net <br /> delivered price to the City of Redwood City of Eleven Thousand <br /> Eighty-four and 00/100 Dollars ($11,084.00) , for the furnishing <br /> of two trailer mounted air compressors 150 CFM, in accordance with <br /> the specifications therefor, is hereby accepted and said bidder <br /> is hereby declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for the <br /> furnishing of said equipment. <br /> 2. Any informalities in the bid mentioned in paragraph 1 <br /> hereof are hereby waived. <br /> 3. Any and all other bids received by the City of Redwood <br /> City for the furnishing of the above mentioned equipment, other <br /> than the bid mentioned in paragraph 1 hereof, are hereby rejected. <br />
