MSR:yc :l1/2/73 <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. 7040 mov5 a <br /> RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR TRAFFIC SIGNAL <br /> MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 6993, adopted September 17 , <br /> 1973, the City Clerk called for bids for traffic signal maintenance <br /> and repair in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> WHEREAS, TRAFFIC SIGNAL MAINTENANCE CO. , INC. , Sunnyvale, <br /> California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the <br /> intention and desire of this Council to award said contract to <br /> Traffic Signal Maintenance Co. , Inc. ; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The bid of Traffic Signal Maintenance Co. , Inc. , in the <br /> total amount of Nine Hundred Sixty and 60/100 Dollars ($960 . 60) <br /> per month, more or less, computed in accordance with a unit price <br /> of Forty-eight and 03/100 Dollars ($48 . 03) per intersection, per <br /> month, for traffic signal maintenance and emergency service, as <br /> set forth in Schedule A of bidder' s proposal dated October 5 , 1973, <br /> and for repairs, as set forth in Schedules B and C of said hicd.er' s <br /> proposal, in accordance with specifications therefor on file in <br /> the office of the City Clerk, is hereby accepted and said bidder <br /> is hereby declared to be the lowest responsible bidder. <br /> 2 . The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br /> certain agreement entitled "Agreement" (form dated 11/5/73) , by <br /> and between the City of Redwood City and Traffic Signal Maintenance <br /> Co. , Inc. , for the performance of the aforesaid work in accordance <br /> with and subject to the terms and conditions of the aforementioned <br /> specifications and contract documents , a copy of which agreement <br />
